The Dingathon is nearly on us! Everything is sorted and it will be a great night!
If you're tossing up whether or not you're coming to dinner, please do come!... we have had to commit to a set number of guests for the catering... the short and the long of it is that we probably have more food then we have people signed up... so the more the merrier.
If you haven't registered yet, no drama, there's still plenty of time!
Hope that all is well in the accomodation search... if you're stuck, Nat Edith has kindly offered some space for couch surfers... her email is natalie_edith@hotmail.com
If you're looking for a Caravan Park, these guys were very helpful: McIvor Hwy Caravan Park 761 McIvor Hwy(03) 5449 3335
The Dingathon is looking like being HUGE: around 160 have registered, and if you inlcude partners, kids, those who say they will come but haven't registered, we're expecting in the region of 200+ people
About the Dingathon:
As you may have already heard on the bush telegraph Pete Dingle is hanging up his boots (At Latrobe at least)
Here's a great chance to acknowledge all that Dingers has done for Students over the last 20 odd years and what he has bought to the world of outdoor education.
So - we are organising an event to acknowledge the old bugger.
It's a send off for Dingers AND a reunion for 20 year levels of Bendigo students
It's an open invite to any past student of Bendigo and any others Dingers has known.
Please pass this on to anyone you know in the outdoor community and ex graduates.
We really hope you can make the time to come along and say farewell as well as catch up with old friends and relive those glory years at Bendigo
Hope to see you there!
